Pre Cana

Has anyone ever done a 3 day precana retreat? I just wanted to know what you thought about it. I found 2 programs which start friday evening and end sunday afternoon. Im not sure if I should do this one or just do the regular one day precana. Thanks.

Re: Pre Cana

We just went to one this past weekend and it was an incredible experience. Some people thing of pre cana as another thing to check off the list, but this is nothing like that. This weekend helps you to focus on your relationship and why you are marrying the amazing person there with you. We discussed our relationship, our religion, children, but most of all we focused on our together ness. After the weekend we felt so excited about our future life together and now we can focus on the most important part of our marriage. It helps us to realize that the flower and the color of the ribbon isnt what your day is about, its about the lifelong commitement you are making to each other. I think that everyone will get a lot of of this experience. We aren't very religious people and still loved it.

where were the retreats? I think I might do that..... I was given three options, that being one, I still have no heard if the others are full yet... so I might end up with the retreat anyway......
