Is there anything in particular you need to bring to pre-cana? We were looking into it and suddenly are now going on Saturday somehow (long story, not expecting to go to pre-cana 364 days before my wedding).

we did pre cana about 9 months before our wedding and it was fine. we were worried about it but ended up enjoying it. you don't need to bring anything w/ you.

we didn't bring anything with us but maybe it depends on where it is? if anything call before hand but most likely u just need yourself and FH
it really wasn't as bad as i thought it would be we went 2 days and then had a mass and we were done

Is Precana only for couples getting married in a church? Becasue I am getting married at my reception site but want a prietst to marry us.

Catholic priests don't marry anyone outside of a church. I am pretty sure it's a rule. But maybe if you are friends with a priest that would help? HTH.
