Re: Pre-cana
FH and I are taking pre-cana on July 28/29 and we are both Catholic and getting married in a Catholic Church and it is required.
If you are not getting married in a church, it's not a requirement - it's a requirement of the Catholic Church.

Re: Pre-cana
I took pre-cana (actually just finished two weeks ago), I think if you are gettng married in the catholic church you have to, but their might be exceptions.
Honestly, FH and I thought it would be boring, but it was a lot of fun and the couples we were with were great. If you are religious (any religious) I think you can appreciate the classes. It wasn't so much about Catholic Values, but how your spirituality, sense of community, and marriage are impacted by your religion and dedication to it.
