Re: Pre-Cana?
I just completed my sessions last week. Our wedding isnt until July 07... It only takes 6 weeks to complete so even if you do it in February you should be ok. Its 2hr sessions, once a week for 6 weeks.

Re: Pre-Cana?
Some churches also have a weekend program or an all day program. Both of my brothers went to an all day program and it was finished in 1 day!

I scheduled mine for Dec 8-9th. Its Fri 7-9, and Sat 9-5. FH works nights so we couldnt do the 6-wk program - but Im glad we get it over with in 2 days!

We had our first 2 classes in June. And now we are going for the Natural Family Planning. Tonight is the first class and the second is in December and then we are all done.

Re: Pre-Cana?
I called to do it in the fall, but they already started classes. She told me i can do the spring session and that should be fine for July wedding.

We're doing ours next weekend at our current parish, not the one we're getting married at.

Re: Pre-Cana?
We did our Pre-cana in August. It was a Friday from 3-6 and then Saturday from 4-6. I don't understand why I hear all of these girls doing weeks etc. It was a breeze. We loved it. By the way, we're getting married in May. Try not to travel so far if you can avoid it. We actually did our Pre-cana at the church we're marrying at.
