If we're getting married 11/30/07, how far in advance do you think we should do the Pre-Cana?

I would do it as soon as you get the chance. Our church did it by season and we just finished ours. Some is longer than others-and I wouldnt want to be doing it weeks before the wedding. I would say for you shoot for sometime in the spring early summer

We had 2 parts. The first one needed to be done 1 year in advance and the second 6 months in advance. Friday is our last class.

we're getting married in august 07 and are starting foccus classes this saturday.

We're getting married in May and we just finished ours. We did it in one day through the Diocese of Brooklyn. It was really easy and we got out early too!!

we are getting married - 11/10/07 and our priest signed us up for a one day class on 1/20/07. call and ask. they usually have a schedule. I would do it as soon as you can.

My FH and I met with the deacon at our church today and we already have our pre cana set for sept 07. We have not really set a date except for the church and that was only because he told us they need one to do the prenuptual investigation. So as of right now I am getting married Nov 10, 2007

Beats me that is what the deacon called it!! LOL I guess it was all the paperwork they had to do today asking us about our sacrements and our intentions with marriage.

LOL!! then in that case i just did that on saturday. we met w/our priest on saturday and went over that stuff.

I would try to find out when it is being offered and get it done as soon as you can. We did our Foccus in Sept. and just did our precana last weekend. We were set up for precan the weekend before that but they had to cancel us. So you don't want that happening to you last minute.

We couldn't do the one our church offered so we did it through the Archdiocese of NY about a year in advance.

you have to talk to your church about that. For ours, it's done seasonally. we set the wedding date (in april '06) of june '07, and were notified what month we had to attend pre-cana (Oct '06).
