FH and I are starting Precana on the 23rd and im nervous.. Why I dont know. FH thinks Im nuts
So what do you talk about ? Myabe if I know I wont be so worried.
(maybe I should go to church and I wouldnt feel like this???)

FH and I did this 2 weeks ago and actually enjoyed it. I am not sure if it differs but we did it through RC Diocese. It was hosted by an older couple who were so incredibly nice. They highly suggest that you interact only with each other...which was nice b/c I thought we would be forced to discuss our relationships with strangers When all was said and done...we enjoyed it. We are not very religious people and we did not feel like you had to be. FM any questions you have

We are going November 16th and 17th...
I think its just older married couples and newlyweds and couples about to get married and you all just talk about what to expect.
That's what I've heard anyway...be sure you both tell me what happens since you guys go before us...lol

we just did it there and we had the sweetest host couple...I think their names were howie and marge...so incredibly cute and in love after like 60 years...adorable...hopefully you get them let me know and good luck

we did pre-cana a few months ago.. it was fine! dont be worried!! you dont have to be very religious... but with our pre-cana it was 2 couples that did it in one of their homes and we were with about 5 other couples and we talked in the group, not alone.. which can be a little uncomfortable but it wasnt bad, everyone was very nice! we went once a week for a month.

thanks girls. Mine is 5 sundays 2 hrs at a time. We go to each others houses and I am worried about that. Hee hee

Good Luck! We're waiting to hear back when we start ours (doing with the Deacon at our church). From what I've heard, a lot of people dread before and actually come out of it enjoying it and maybe even learning something new about e/o.....

anybody have to take the focus test? we took mit lastweeend and go bck fo rthe results at the end of the month. we are doing pre-cana oct. 20 at our lady of lourdes in massapequa. Anybody else going that weekend?

when we met with our priest he gave us all the info, i called right away, we were going to do it sooner but decided to postpone it.. now we are going today.

When i met with my priest he just said that they would call and it's a long time away. So i thought that it would be like 2 month before. I would like to get it over with. Maybe i should call the priest and ask to do it earlier.

yeah give them a call - get it over with, you are going to have so much to do and going on those few moonths before youare not going to want to do precana

we were told to register whenever we want...theres a website with all the schedules and places we can do it. We can register and pay online.
