PRE-CANA?

Good question......I'm so excited....we got our letter last night about Pre-Cana!!!! We have our first mass on October 28th and then will have 3 evening sessions and then a final mass where they give us a gift and bless my e-ring!! I'm so excited!!!

first day i had jeans, a black sweater and sneakers and EVERYBODY was dressed like that. We had it friday night and saturday from 9-5 so on friday after the mass our host couple told us infact to wear something very casual and comfortable since we'll be there for so long, either to wear sweats or jeans and comfortable shoes, we sat in an auditorium for 7 hours so there was no need to get dressed up

I totally agree...I went in August and we were told the same thing...you will be happier being comfy since it is kind of a long day...good luck...we enjoyed it

ok, I said that I was going to wear jeans and a nice shirt and my mom told me that I had to dress like I was going to work. I told FH just to wear jeans and a button down shirt.

honestly i was going to dress up a little too, was gonna wear jeans, heels a nice top and a blazer...i happened to have appendicitis the day before and was put on meds, i couldnt walk fast and couldnt walk that well period so thats why i decided to wear sneakers only bc of that reason and thank god i did bc honestly everyone was REALLY dressed down, i mean sweats and hoodies or jeans and sneakers, i wouldve felt so over dressed.

Did you go to the one in douglaston?? How was it?

Day 1 we wore jeans... everyone was pretty casual.

Day 2 was the day we went to mass and we were told to dress nicely so FH and I wore slacks and I wore heels.

yes thats the one i went to, OMG that place is HUUUUUGE, everyone was lost trying to find where we had to go lol...they have a main building then another one and each one is a couple of floors lol...go towards the athletic center when you go lol...but everyone there was great, i wrote a review, we loved the host couple we had...saturday is a long day 9-4, we do get breaks and also they serve us lunch in the dining room, the food was real good too ziti and meatballs, plus cake and other desserts

I cant wait to start - we have Focus next week - and then i think we're doing pre-cana in january.

I would say dress casual - just make sure its modest lol

there were 22 couples in the class so yeah 44 ppl, decent amount lol

its really not bad at all, even FH was surprised and said it wasnt bad at all
