I might be jumping the gun here because I haven't even met with my priest yet, but when do we need to go for the pre cana??
my church said that you can do it anytime before getting married.. FH and I are thinking about doing it as early as we can.... just so we aren't waiting until the last minute.
Yes, meet with your priest first. I know some parishes only have pre cana when they can get enough couples to make a group. There are other options out there too. My priest told us about a weekend retreat they have at Kellenberg but I still have to call the diocese and get info on it. (as you all know i am a huge slacker) FH and I want to do it ASAP just to get something else out of the way. Good luck!

it usuall 6mth b/c getting married. Fh and I are going In Jan.

I spoke to my priest and he said that I can take it when ever I want so I am getting it out of the way and we signed up for it with another couple that we are friends with that is getting married for the second week in january . the priest said just hold on to the certificate.
