Is anyone doing Pre-Cana and FOCCUS this year? I was surprised to get letter from my church saying their classes start in March! When I called them I was told that it is a good idea to do it now so we don't have to worry about it next year on top of everything else. Sooo I think we might just do it now. There are only 2 sessions we have to attend.
i just took my FOCCUS test on Tuesday we have to wait about a month to go over the results. Then hopefully I can get Pre Cana out of the way before next year. I forgot when they offer Pre Cana at my church
We are signed up for pre-cana towards the end of March, however we are doing it up in CT, they don't offer FOCCUS up here. So then we do the foccus test online and meet witht he priest in a month or two.
We just had foccus two weekends ago and this past weekend we went to discuss.... We are doing precana in the fall...
Fall for us too, they wanted us to do it now but it's our busy season until April (we're both accountants).
We did foccus over the summer and will probably do precana sometime over the winter
We're doing a full-day session this September. The priest didn't say anything about a FOCCUS test - I never even heard of this!
my church told us to wait until next march to do pre cana. FOCCUS he told us to wait on too. I'm guessing it's the timing we went to book the church.
we did the foccus back in aug and just met to go over it about 3 weeks ago. we started pre cana last friday night and 2 more sessions to attend. it really wasn't bad.
My church told me to wait also...but I'd rather get it done...I wonder if I should call them...
my church is being a pain. i wanna do it this year but they are telling me probably not cuz the 2009 brides have to do it first. but they wont give me a straight answer. its annoying

not all diocese use FOCCUS. the RVC diocese does, i'm not sure if the brooklyn diocese does. anyway, it's a test with a bunch of questions that they make you fill out on a scantron sheet. then they meet with you and give you the results on a graph and tell you what things you might need to work on
