Pre Cana

We paid 300.00 because I thought you HAD to sign up through the Diocese of Rockville Centre... it wasn't until I was looking through FHs church bulletin and saw the parish pre cana


FOCCUS was included it was two days, breakfast and lunch and a work book included in that price...

Oh, and the wonderful video about natural family planning (aka: NOT THE RHYTHM METHOD).

We had guest speakers too, the most informative one (in my opinion) was the person who talked abour raising a family.

look into St. Rose of Lima in Massapequa. We had a couple who were getting married at a diffrent church but took the pre cana through my parish. I dont see them charging you more then $75.

umm i think FOCCUS was $75. it was a 1 day thing. for like 3 hours or something. we had to take the test onlint first.

pre cana was $100, we're taking it in january thru the parish. it's held on 2 saturdays for 3 hrs each day i think.

$300 because we didnt do it at my parish.

ETA- the price did include foccus but we already did it at my parish.

We did in-parish, but we didn't have to pay anything. It's all included in our 'donation' I guess?

My church has been totally incommunicado and I am getting nervous b/c I know they do precana two times a year and am hoping I don't miss out on the spring session!!!

ours was $195!
not sure if it includes foccus or not. we have pre cana this weekend so i will find out then

We did it through the Diocese of RVC and it was 300 (it was 2 days and included foccus) They did have so much food.

This is the one we are doing too (in January) for $300. We wanted to go through my parish but it was one night a week for 6 weeks and we couldnt do that bc FH travels with work. We actually both just did the FOCCUS questionnaire and found it to be helpful!
