PRE-CANA but OUT OF STATE?

PRE-CANA but OUT OF STATE?

OK, FH and I live in RI...are gettin married in Sag Harbor (HOPEFULLY).....do we have to do pre-cana at our church we are marrying in or would we be able to do it out here in RI?

ANy ideas?

I'm in CA, and we're getting married on LI. We were told that we could do it out here, but since most likely we're moving back to NY before our wedding, the priest said we could wait and do it when we move back. He said that if something happens with our moving plans, we could do it out here. Talk to your priest. He should be able to let you know for sure.

I did my pre cana in florida, my FH lives down there and was not able to come here to do it so we did it one weekend down there. My priest didn't ahve a problem with it but i asked him before i signed up. I'm sure you won't ahve a problem doing it in RH.
