Pre Cana- Engaged Encouter AWESOME!!!

Hello,
I just wanted to let all of u brides know about the engaged encounter pre-cana.
My dh and I were looking for an easy way to go through this so we heard about the weekend pre cana where it's like 1/2 the time and it isn't 1 a week for 6 weeks.
I let my dh take care of it and he booked us for the engaged encounter on ACCIDENT! We had to sleep there the whole weekend- friday-sunday. I was ready to kill him. However, IT WAS THE BEST THING WE EVER DID!!!!
seriously, you don't have to share or discuss anything with other couples, we wrote little letters to each other and discussed them privately. I still have the books and look at it every once in a while. I learned so much about Billy that I never knew nor probably wouldn't have found out and I have known him since HS! Awesome experience!
I know I know, you don't want to sleep over in a seminary, IT WAS LIKE A MINI VACATION FROM THE WEDDING STRESS! We both loved it even though we both went into it annoyed atthe whole situation. Ladies, trust me, well worth it!!!!

We went to a seminary in huntington, but i believe they also have one in bay shore. it really was great!

yeah, we're planning on doing engaged encounter weekend since i'm living in VA... they give you a same sex roommate for the weekend (at least thats what it says online) which i think could be really awkward!!!

We were booked for this past weekend...but for the pre cana to be held in Bayshore. The seminary in Huntington was booked. After booking, I found out that we have to 'bunk' with the people they choose...and all share a bathroom which is UNLIKE the seminary in Huntington. I thought we would each have our own room as the seminary. So..we rescheduled. :( I was sooo disappointed because we were really looking forward to it.....

yes if you stay in huntington you get your own room and bathroom but in bayshore it's sharing rooms and bathrooms. But i think the next couple of weekends are at the seminary in huntington. the rooms aren't super fancy but u only sleep there. especially if it's nice out you can walk around and find a place to sit with ur fh outside.
