FH and I had precana for the first time last night....
The deacon made a big speech to everyone saying if we are having sex we should stop and we should wait until we are married because there is nothing to be gained from doing that and we are only hurting ourselves!

Pretty much! Everyone was just looking down, avoiding all eye contact!
And the people teaching pre cana are all in their 70's.....so awkward!

Yikes, that's gotta be so wierd. My poor FI is dreading Pre Cana and I'm the one going 'don't worry, we are going to have fun!!' Hopefully we learn some thing...LOL Enjoy the rest of your experiences!!

we went to precana... they basically told our group that they know times have changed and are not going to comment on the sex topic, as they felt precana was to spark conversation, and possibly reveal new information that wasnt discussed before.....

hmmmm... i liked our precana---we didn't delve much into that whole not having sex before marriage, b/c the couple moderating it knows what's going on.
they did brief us on natural family planning. but we talked mostly about our relationship and keeping it strong.
