sooo to all you ladies who were starting pre cana tonight...how did it go?
ours was great...group of about 5 couples and tonight was really just intros...supposed to be 2 hrs but we got out after about 1 hr...we have 4 more sessions, each 2 hrs...we don't take the FOCUS test...instead we have a book that has his/her question pages as you read along...

yea when we met with our priest...he said he had done that a few times for people's who's schedule was just too crazy or for people that lives OOT but were getting married at the church...def look into it!

Our precana went great as well! We were there for three hours and then went to mass. I really enjoyed it. We talked about communication and it was nice to see everyone's different views. I believe we are going to meet on Sumdays.

We had it tonight too. It was actually fun :) We had to fill out the FOCCUS 'test' which I'm excited to see the results for. It was a like a really long magazine quiz lol... I can see that this whole process will spark some good discussions. And, I'm excited to almost have another check :)

I actually finished mine today (weekend one).

We went to our first FOCCUS class today. We spent a lot of time afterwards asking each other questions based off of it.

ahhh how exciting!! we picked father tom edamattan because i went to school at st pats and he's the only priest that's still there from when i grew up...also really would love for father brian barr to come, he used to be at the parish, but he was my HS chaplain at st anthony's..

How is the class overall? I'm really nervous about going as I don't know what to expect. FH would pay the priest off if he could so he wouldn't have the go.
He can't sit still for more than 20 mins so this will be interesting. How long is the entire course?
