pre-cana part 2

Well yesterday was my first real class. It was from 6-9:30. I have to say that I was a little nervous about what they are going to ask us. Well the topics were In laws, money, and communication.
We talked about a lot of things in those topics and to my shock. My fh was like the first person to answer most of the question and then start the convos with the other couples, It was so cute to see him so involved with this, He originally said that he was going to hate it and what do you know he loves it and so do I. Well we also got homework. It was cute. They asked us to fill out a sheet of three things that fh does that you love, 3 things that fh used to do but doesn't anymore, and 3 things that you wish fh would do. Then we switched papers and our HW is to do the things on the list but don't tell him that it was on the paper and then we are going to talk about how are weeks were better next class. Also our next class is the last one until as they call it (we graduate LOL) 3/30 at 11am mass.

So what I tell you ladies is, don't be afraid or nervous about pre-cana. Take it as a learning experience and go with the flow and you will have fun with it.

yes def. you will be ok. I was the same way and if isnt that bad as i thought. Good luck and keep open minded.

Doesn't Pre Cana have to be done closer to the wedding...my church told me that couldn't accept the certificate if it was before 3-6 months before the wedding?

no my church wanted us to have it done sooner then later because we have alot of ppl marrying at our church. If i were you i would found out just to make sure. I want to get it done now and get it over with.

Me too that's why I asked if we could do it earlie and our priest said no. Our church isn't a very popular one or big at all..and they only have 2 sessions a year..one in Jan and one in Sept.
