Hi Ladies Can anyone give a me sense of what happens during a 2 day pre cana session? My FH is very nervous (me not so much) and I want to ease his nervousness by letting him know what to expect. We already did the FOCCUS test and went over the results at a different session. This is the full two day weekend thing. Thanks for sharing any and all experiences!

I didn't do a 2 day pre-cana but a one day. All in all, it isn't bad at all and there is nothing to be nervous about. The whole session is mostly instruction--how to communicate effectively, sex session, differences between guys and girls. It's actually kinda fun.

FH and I did the two day session in Douglaston. We went Friday evening from 7-9 for a prayer service and just a 'what to expect' talk...very quick. On Saturday, it was scheudled from 9-5...started w/a buffet breakfast and then a couple of hours w/different couples and the host couple going over different things from a book they give you, then we broke for lunch and had another two hours or so, they let us out around 3pm.
It's actually an enjoyable weekend, nothing to be nervous about at all...there will be tons of other couples there with you.

thanks for the replies..I'm not so nervous. FH is because he is very shy. I will have to show him these replies. We are going this weekend to the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington...anyone else going then?
