Re: Pre Cana question...
You have to do Pre-Cana to be married in a church. It is a requirement in the Catholic church, they won't marry you in a catholic church without doing this. If she goes to a lutheran or non-catholic church, I don't think you need it. But they will tell her if she calls around what she needs to be married there. HTH

Re: Pre Cana question...
I didn't think priests married people off church locations. There are officiants who will marry you where ever you want though, and don't need pre cana

Re: Pre Cana question...
a priest will not marry you at a RH, a judge or an officiant will. Pre-cana is only done through a church.

Re: Pre Cana question...
She can get married by a priest at her RH if she is not Catholic. (EX: Lutheran, Episcopalian, etc.) If she is Catholic, a priest is not allowed to marry at a RH and she would need to hire an officiant. As far as completing Pre-Cana, I don't know if that applies if you don't get married in the church. Whatever she decides, the church/priest/officiant will let her know exactly what to do.
