We DREADED it, but we actually LOVE the ppl in our group, and we're even planning an Atlantic City trip w/them for after its over! Its really not as bad as it would seem.

I wish that had happened with us. But our church does 2 nights in a row for 3 hours each... but in actuality it was more like an hour and a half each and we didn't really talk to eachother at all. I was nervous at first, and then disapointed. My brother and his wife became super close with their Precana group.
It's really not a bad experience at all!

We had our Welcome Meeting last Sunday and start our sessions this Monday. I don't mind going to the meetings. My biggest problem right now is that I begged to be in the Sunday night classes. When we got there, they put us in Wednesday nights. That would be fine but I live in Staten Island and have to be out in Commack by 6:30 which will be terrible. Plus, the people in my group decided that Wednesdays are not good for them so we jump around all different days.

me & FH went to the first day of FOCUSS today & sadly, the priest that was supossed to be running the class died yesterday
so NEXT week will be the first week instead of the second week b/c they have to get someone else to administer the test!!!
how sad/crazy is that?!

the FOCCUS test is the silliest thing. The only thing it is good for is to show areas where couples havent really discussed.
The precana itself is bad, and for some people i think it's good because some couples dont talk about all things they should regarding their relationship and things that will come up in their relationship (finances, parental involvement, etc).
