we did a 6 week course - it as 2 hours each week, the first week was a intro session with all the couples in the program, next 4 were 2 hour sessions with two other couples in someone's house and the last was a mass and lunch where all the pre cana couples were honored

i enjoyed it, but FH was mad because it was on tuesday nights so he had to miss his fave show for 4 weeks in a row since we didnt have DVR then

if you're doing it in one day - very loonngggg! lol
But it was nice to sit with other couples and talk about experiences and learn from married couples ways to communicate and work together. If you want to get something out of it you will if you are there thinking Why did I decide to get married in a Church than you won't lol

FH and I did the weekend pre-cana and we actually really loved it. Honestly, we weren't bored at all, and the day went by really quickly. Our couple was really great and made it fun and even amusing at times. We definitely left feeling like it brought us closer together. I tell everyone that even if they are not Catholic, they should do pre-cana before they get married!!

WE LOVED IT!!!!!! We went to the one in W. Islip at St. John the Baptist High School. We are 'interfaith' I'm Episcopalian, so it was recommended that we do that one.

It was a great bonding experience and we lucked out with great speakers.

Same here! FH and I got 'back to back' engraved in our rings from pre cana..One of the couples kept referring back to saying that, meaning you always have eachothers back throughout everything. LOVED it, I'd actually like to go back with FH in a few years and speak
