Me and Fh have to do PreCana through the Diocese weekend classes since we both work nights and can't get off. We are scheduled to go Feb.8th and 9th (Sat/Sun) from 9-4pm. Just wondering if anyone else did it this way and what to expect. We also have to do a FOCUS questionaire before we go, that's through our church-what exactly that does entail?? Thanks

We did a Sat 7:45 to 6pm. Out church gave us written exercises and then broke us into groups with married mentors to discuss different topics.
Im sorry but it was soooooooooooooo long and boring. But we had a blast

My FH and I did the weekend Pre Cana last weekend, and I think it should be similar to yours. Basically, they had several married couples talk about things like communication in marriage, conflict resolution, raising a Catholic family, etc. It was a lot less painful than I expected. My FH was NOT looking forward to it at all, and even he had to admit it exceeded his expectations. There weren't a whole lot of excercises or anything like that, just lectures.

We had questionaires about different aspects of marriage, and dealing with abusive partners, finances, compromise. ets yada yada

Okay thanks, I spke w/ a lady from the Church today and that's how she explained it. She said we have to take like a scan tron type test and we get graded!!! Hell, I have a feeling we might fail this test!
