Dont be scared...its actually pretty cool... at least we thought so... we have completed 2 or 4 so far! Have fun!

Yeah you sit in a group of the hosts and other couples... really tonight will probably be a getting to know you kind of night, theyre gonna want to know how you met? Your family make-up! Its really not too bad, its more like a counseling session!

2 hours is nothing. My church did it Friday from 7:30-10 pm, Saturday from 8:00am- 7:30pm and Sunday from 8am until mass ended at 11:30am. That was a killer!!!! But it shouldn't be to bad in 2 hour increments. Good Luck!!!!

ooooh have fun! we loved pre-cana. gave us a whole new appreciation for each other and our wedding day! we did 2 nights, 6 hours each, and we wish we had more!

ehh it won't be bad. 2 hours is nothing. mine was from 9:30 - 4:30. now that was painful.

How was it? We are going in April. I am not sure how much more FH and I can learn about each other. We have been living together pretty much our whole relationship (6 1/2 yrs) and also have a 1 1/2 yr old daughter. I am kind of wondering what will be said or thought about that duing pre-cana. Anyone else have this situation?

We loved our pre cana! It was a lot of fun! There was a couple in our group that had a simlar situation. She had a 14 year old from a previous relationship, and out of the 6 couples i think 3 of us were already living together. HTH!

Don't be scared. I didn't do Pre-Cana but we did Pre-Martial Counseling and we loved it. It totally helped us. You will be fine!!!

Thanks! I have always heard that you gain so much from pre-cana but that was from people not in FH and my situation. But I know it is required by the church. I am looking forward to it, but was a little worried about how we would be perceived.
