can anyone recommend a hotel in manhattan that would be good for one night? we are not going on our honeymoon until feb but still want to spend at elast a night or weekend to spoil ourselves for working so hard planning the wedding.
any suggestions? would like to keep it under 200 per night...in a nice neighborhood.

I'm not sure of the pricing, but check out the empire hotel in Lincoln Center or the Dream hotel in midtown. Both great places!

I deal with a lot of hotels in the city.. what dates were you lookin for? Just to let you know from now until beginning of january the rates in NYC are over 300 a night at a nice hotel.. sometime even more since its during xmas time and the holidays they jack up there prices.. Let me know the dates you were thinkin of and I can check with my hotel contacts.. The Time nyc is always great location and trendy .. the London is really nice too. The new Eventi hotel is great and yes the empire is cool too.. I also have W hotel contacts.. FM me dates and I can look into it for you!!

I was actually thinking of going this friday night...(or sat night). Doesn't need to be the fanciest place around..just somewhere clean, in a nice area for walking around and maybe even eclectic....

You should get a good deal. My aunt is a TA and she said the prices are just after dropping a lot since there is not as much demand for hotels this weekend as expected.

I'm in love with the Grand Hyatt hotel near grand central - it's either an obnoxious location or a convenient location, whichever way you prefer to look at it, but I love that hotel.
