Are any of you going to do premarital counseling outside of pre canna or what your church or other religious affiliations may offer? I think I would like to but I am not really affiliated with any church plus I think I want a non religious point of view. Does anyone know of any good premarital counselors? Thanks!!!

Re: Pre marital counseling
Im a therapist myself, but that might be conflict of interest! We are just doing precana and dont feel we need counseling at this point. Talk to us in five years - tee hee! But it cant hurt. You can see any therapist who specialized in interpersonal relationships/couples.
Not sure where you are but I know a great therapist who does as such on the South Shore in Nassau. FM me for more info!

Re: Pre marital counseling
I am looking to do this also. We are having an interfaith ceremony at the reception hall so the pre cana wouldnt work for us but i do think counseling is a must. We are going to go through our insurance to see what therapist they have on thier list so we only have to pay a co pay
