What pre-wedding beauty regimen are you on for skincare? Any favorite products your recommend or treatments? I've heard some girls recommend a facial a couple weeks before your wedding, any particular type? Thanks!

Pre-wedding beauty regimen? - Long Island Weddings
I was told to drink cucumber, lemon water every day for 2 months leading up to wedding and exfoliate pretty often, several of my friends swear by the apricot scrub (which reminds me of being a teenager and using that and mudd masks)

I don't really drink soda much anyway but I didn't drink anything other than water for a week before. I also went and bought all new make-up and brushes to be sure I didn't break out or anything. I've heard facials are great but I didn't do one because I don't know how my skin would have reacted to it.

Re: Pre-wedding beauty regimen?
the two posts above me! If you are going to do a facial I suggest doing your homework on the place or get a recommendation from a friend or family. I have been doing the lemon cucumber water thing and I add lime too. I do a face mask at home. I went to do a facial in January. I feel like it helped but my acne sucks especially since wedding planning so I honestly skipped going back for monthly facials and just went to the dermatologist. Since I went to the dermatologist, my face has cleared up way more than getting the facial.

I just ordered Meaningful Beauty (maybe some of you saw it's a whole line of skin care products by Cindy Crawford lolol it's an infomercial) It was only $49 for like 5 products so I'll let you know if it works

I'm going to the dermatologist this month to see about any good skin care products leading up to the big day. Don't feel like breaking out a month before the wedding!

I'm going to go to the dermatologist also. I use quality skin care products, but I don't want to be red on my wedding day. And lately my roseacea is out of control so I want to get that taken care of way in advance.

Oh I also want my hair to be long for the big day so I've started taking biotin, getting haircuts every 6-8 weeks, and started taking a regular multivitamin. I've already noticed my eyelashes are much longer

Re: Pre-wedding beauty regimen?
So funny that you asked this...
I went to my makeup trial recently, and I have HORRIBLE skin... like 16 year old teenage crater face (at times).
She told me to exfoliate every day, followed by a cleanser, and a moisturizer.
I can finally say, (at 31 years old), that I HAVE DECENT QUALITY SKIN NOW!
I had the trial on March 5 and I already see a HUGE difference.
I'm drinking 8oz of carrot juice a day and getting lots of natural sunlight which really does miracles for my light skin and the carrot juice gives you an amazing color. I'm going to drown myself in SPF for my face until August 24!!
I'm going to a dermatologist too and I heard about getting shots that prevent you from breaking out, if you know you are acne prone. I have always had troubled skin.
I swear by my Clarisonic (normal brush) and yes that Apricot Scrub is amazing but St. Ives but it's pretty rough and I wouldn't use it everyday on my face like I can with my Clarisonic.
Also COCONUT OIL! my newest best friend. I really want to look into something for dark circles and something for overall complexion.

Re: Pre-wedding beauty regimen?
I'm a big fan of lush. I exfoliate 2-3 Times a week. I also use toner and moisturize everyday. My wedding is coming up soon. I might do a facial in the next week or so. I don't want to do it too close to the wedding. I also bought crest white strips
