I am Indian and I have to have another party the day before my wedding and I am looking for a venue that charges max of $40 pp with food or about $20-$30 pp with an outside caterer. I'll have about 150 people at this party. Does anyone have any suggestions?

maybe try Verdi's of Westbury? Not sure if you want a restaurant or a venue, but 150 might be too big for a regular restaurant.
also check out La Parma in Williston Park - they have an upstairs room - I'm not sure how many it holds though.
