Pre-wedding shoot before the big day?

Hello,
My wedding is next month, and I’m considering a casual photoshoot with my loved ones before the actual ceremony. Is this something people usually do, and any tips for making it special?

People absolutely do this, and I love the idea! A casual shoot feels so much more relaxed than the formal wedding photos. I’d say pick a place with good natural light and just let everyone be themselves—laugh, talk, enjoy the moment. Those spontaneous shots end up being the best memories.
