Pre-Wedding Skin Care

Pre-Wedding Skin Care

Is anyone doing anything as far as pre-wedding skin care (such as a facial, body scrub, etc)?

I've only gotten a facial once in my life but I'm thinking it would be a good idea to start doing them before the wedding.

Does anyone have someone they'd recommend (not too expensive and not too far out in LI - I live in Queens)?

TIA!

I would love to hear suggestions on this too... was just thinking about it last night!

I get them at the Cactus Institute in Roosevelt Field in Garden City. Because they are students, they are $40-$50 each.

Also there is the Aveda Institute in the City for around the same price

What do you normally get when you go there? The Classic Spa-tini?

Mario Badescu in the city has the best facials and reasonably priced!!!

I got facials every month starting 6 months prior to the wedding. I loved it and it was worth it. I tried microdermabrasion but if you dont go 3-6 times you wont see the results. Also drink lots of water, dont sleep with your makeup on and clean your face.

Thanks! I've actually been pretty good with my skin routine for the past couple of weeks so hopefully I'll keep it up.

there's a lot of spas in flushing. i go to sasa on roosevelt & main, it's an asian spa but they have consultants that are fluent in english. me & mom have been going there for 2 years now and the monthly basic facial helps a lot! i'm an addict!
