We had Pre Cana this weekend - Friday evening (ended an hour early!) and all day Saturday (ended at 2:30pm instead of 5pm!).
I enjoyed it and my FH & I LOVED the couple that did the PreCana! Did anyone else have Gaby & Ernie? They were so adorable, sweet, funny! They've been married FIFTY FIVE (yes, 55) years and they still look so in love and had so much respect and emotion for the other. It was great to have it with them!

You mean you had Gaby & Ernie??? Weren't they sooo cute? We got to talk to Gaby a bit and she was just so sweet.

We did it through the Brooklyn Diocese at a church in Queens. I just went online to www.pre-cana.org and printed the form. I chose two options for PreCana, mailed the form with the check and they sent me a card telling me which PreCana we had been assigned to.
These are Friday night (7:30-9:30) and Saturday 9-5pm. They have a lot of options too.
*Note, this is not my diocese - mine is the NY Archdiocese - but their Pre Cana courses did not fit our schedule. You can take Pre Cana anywhere, they give you a certificate to show your priest at the end of the course.*

Congrats! We had pre-cana this weekend but at the brooklyn diocese center in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We had a really good time too although FH and I had already pretty much discussed every one of the topics that they covered. But it was still a good experience and we enjoyed it. And we got our certificate so one more thing to check off the list!!!

I went to the same place on friday and saturday.. it was located at prospect park west... with the couple that was married 25 years..
