With my FH being a DJ, it is very hard for us to do the precana offered by my church (4 friday nights and a saturday mass). We were thinking about doing the one day or weekend Precana. I think it is in Rockville center?
3 Questions: Will my church accept precana from somewhere else? How do I find out about when precana is available in Rockville Center? Does anyone know upcoming dates?

I am pretty sure your church will accept pre cana from another church. My church does it in one weekend saturday from 930-430 and sunday 830 -1130. Try St Patricks in Bay Shore. The rectory number is 631-665-4911.

I am sure they will accept it being that you have a legitimate reason for not being able to make the other ones. Just speak to them.

We did Precana through the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Neither one of us belong to that parish. The only thing is we did the weekend class. But you have to attend both Sat. & Sunday from 9am-3pm.
I actually called them to get the 2006/2007 schedule. The number is 516-678-5800.

Thanks! Im going to try rockville center. I keep calling the people running precana at my church and they havent called me back.
