How soon before you started Pre Cana did you recieve the paperwork to be filled out and payment made, and all that good stuff?
FH and I are scheduled to start March 6th and havn't gotten anything yet....

oops! ok we paid online they gave me this website to go to ....we printed our receipt they didn't tell us to fill anything out

I paid on the internet and was sent a password to do FOCCUS...no paperwork except for the stuff you do in class, and a survey at the end.

hmmm... we weren't told about anything online. We don't have to do Foccus maybe that's why?
They said they were sending it and I havn't recieved anything. When do you think I should call them again? This isn't mine or FH's parish so I am worried we will be forgotten or something...

We didn't have to do FOCCUS either and we signed up and paid online at www.pre-cana.org. The priest never sent us paperwork and neither did the church where we had pre-cana.

march 6th is right around the corner...call them now to see if there is something you need to fill out

we signed up and paid online. a week before our date we didnt hear anything. turns out the lady mixed up our info and didnt even put us into the class. maybe give a call and make sure your still on. no harm.

i literally received my a few days ago and im going to pre cana tomm !!! i booked it last minute ! the priest is letting me bring the check with me tomm !

Are you doing it through your parish or through the Diocese? FH and I did it through the diocese and took care of everything online....it might be different if you are doing it through your parish. I would definitely call though!

I went in and physically paid them but they haven't cashed my check yet. I have precana next weekend lol.
They didn't ask me to fill anything out.

FH & I are doing pre-cana with the priest who is marrying us. when we booked the church, we where told that we would receive a packet in January about pre-cana. i waited 2 weeks into January before i decided to start calling the Church only to find out that we where not actually listed in the book. our day & time slot said our priests name so the rectory didn't know it was a wedding.
then a couple of days later we received a 'packet.' our packet was a piece of paper saying the day & time or pre-cana. that's it. so i called to say that we would be their & i asked if we had to pay for it & was told no.
this may be a similar situation for you. we also do not have to do Foccus. i would say you should call the church ASAP.

We were told to bring a check to our foccuss test and another check to our 1st pre-cana meeting. We didn't actually sign up or do anything on line for this church. (St. Rose of Lima).

Sorry to hjjack, another PC question..does anyone know if CEE (Catholic Engaged Encounter) weekends count as Pre-Cana, or are they separate?
