Hey ladies! So, we are not getting married in a church, but we'd still like to do a precana-sort-of-thing... Anybody done this type of precana outside the church? If so can you FM me with info and pricing? Thanks!!

Our officiant offers it...he has some couples do it before he will marry them but he said FH & I didn't need it

I dont know if prices are the same. But pre cana was 195 for us.
You should contact the diocese.

i was wondering if there is some sort of precana type thing that isn't catholic (i'm pretty sure precana is catholic??? if not then i mean 'some sort of precana type thing that isn't ______).

we did engaged encounter retreat. its catholic-primarily. but they did say it was open to all engaged couple. and during the orientation they mentioned that not everyone was catholic (although im not sure who wasnt)
i thought it was good.

You could try pre-marital counseling. My understaing is that pre cana is for catholic couples only.
