Preferred Vendors

I am confused so I am hoping that someone can help me. I am getting married at Fox Hollow and I am interested in using Reverand Nic. I was told by Fox Hollow that the ceremony room was X dollars and the officiant was another X dollars. Is that if I use their preferred vendors? Like, why would I have to pay them for an officiant and then actually pay the officiant? I ceratinly dont mind paying someone for their service but I dont want to pay twice...... Im planning on calling them tomorrow but for some (stupid) reason I am now stressing about this. Can anyone give me any insight so that I can go to sleep? Please?

It's two separate fees. The officiant doesn't work for them, they just have a business recommendation arrangement.

As the person above said - it's two separate fees. You do NOT have to use Reverend Nic - and if you do not - you don't have that charge.

For example - i'm not using him - so my charge is without that fee.

his fee is whatever they told you it is - i think it's 500. so - if you don't use him - you don't pay that fee and you pay whatever the other pastor charges you.

we aren't using him personally.

i'm going to pull out my contract - hang on.

okay - here we go -

Chapel & Flowers - is $750
Clergy Fee - IF(meaning - if we want to use him) - $350.

So - it will only be $750 for the ceremony plus whatever our pastor is charging us.

the fox hollow preffered vendors are mostly on the expensive side.. the only one we are using is Rev NIck.. he was highly recomended, and is loved by most!! dont forget , its the most important part of the wedding... is the actual ceremony itself!! i cant wait for him to marry us!!!
