did anyone take a test when late and were neg that turned postive later on?????

That didn't happen to me. But I think after having the test sit out over a certain amount of time, it is no longer accurate.
If you don't get your AF in a day or two, perhaps you want to take another one.

You could try a more sensive HPT. Its best to take it first thing in the morning.

usually there are enough hormones to turn it positive the day after... but I agree take it in the AM when there is a build up in the urine. GOOD LUCK!!
