I'm getting preggo fever again after being at a very beautiful baby shower yesterday

Just completed 39 weeks !!

I've been more tired the last few days, I had a lot more energy earlier this week and really kept busy since I started maternity leave. I'm having trouble sleeping through the night, but it could be b/c I'm waking up later and napping, so my schedule is messed up.

I have on and off swelling in my hands and feet, but really not bad at all compared to what other women have. It's weird b/c somedays I forget I'm pregnant! I guess it's b/c I'm so used to being big and round, it's going to be weird not having a big belly soon! The baby's movements have slowed a bit, but I still feel him/her squirming around, I bet I have a 7 pounder by now!

I'm hoping my baby is at least a couple of days late, since we are scheduled to move on our due date!

Oh, and names are James or Lila. Still not sure of middle names, and the spelling of Lila might be Lyla.

Well, Tuesday I start week 18. Time is flying!
We just had sono #6. My placenta has moved to a healthy place, and the Lima Bean looks fine, and not much like a bean any more!! We will be going for our level II in 2 weeks. We're pretty excited for that.
My migraines are pretty bad, but I have no choice but to live with them.

If we have a boy, he'll be Nicholas Patrick or Blake Patrick, and if Lima is a girl, Alessandra Victoria or Alessia Nicolette or Alessia Morgan.

Niha, I Lyla spelled that way is so unique and pretty!!!

I'm at week 25 I only have 15 weeks left I'm also happy to report that my placenta has moved also We are having a and his name will be Damien Richard! My morning sickness is gone for the most part (thank God!) I occasionally have sciata pain Other than that I'm feeling good but tired

I start Week 8 this week! I still feel 24 Hr. nausea but am getting used to i t. I go for my first appt. on the 18th so hopefully there will be some info then! We haven't started on names....there are too many!!!!! Although I love James, and William. Isabella, Lila and Margaret.

Hello fellow Moms-to-Be. I am 15 weeks and 2 days as of today (Monday). Most of you already know that I have a compressed nerve so I work from home now because I cannot sit upright for the 2-hour each way commute plus the time in the office. My leg pain goes on and off, depending on the day and what I did that day. somedays I just want to get stuff done and I forget that I will be paying for working so hard later.

I think the baby is a boy- but I have no proof of that at all. Scott thinks the baby is a girl- and he also has no proof. So we are pretty much in the dark. We, or should I say I, don't want to find out if the baby is a boy or girl, but Scott really, really does. But since we cannot find out for a few more weeks anyway, I am getting my way We'll see before Sonogram#2 if Scott makes it a real priority and if I will give in or not.

Names (which can change):
Boy: Kyle (this one is my front runner, but not Scott's), Alex, Sean. Scott likes Shane, but I am not super thrilled with that.
Girls: Emory (which is my grandmother's Eva and Mary put together), Holly or Brooke.

So far, I have done research on strollers, bouncing seats, pack&plays. I am going to register in about 3 weeks. oh, and I got the baby a little outift so far. it's yellow with teddy bear on the feet and a little bear uptop that says Going Home. I keep it hung on my closet door so every time I look at it I am reminded of what is growing inside of me.

Hello, my name is Debbie and I started my 26 or 27 (depending on who you ask, me or the sonogram ) week today!!!

Thank God the M/S stopped in my fifth month, although I still get a bit nauseous on the bus in the morning. I'm feeling ok, except I don't sleep too good because of the bed hog I sleep with, getting up to pee what seems like every 5 minutes (just when I start going into a deep sleep, I have to get up again), and my carpal tunnel is back with a vengenance!!!!! The other night I had excrutiating leg cramps because little Bear Cub must have been pressing on my nerve -- glad to say that was only the one night! Other then the so-called 'normal' symptoms, I'm feeling alright. I feel mighty large, but that comes with the territory, right!

We started registering at BRU and will go to BBB to register there tomorrow (I'm going to post my tirade about my registry in another post).

We are not finding out the sex, although everyone has an opinion -- . We'll see. If it is a boy we picked Angelo Vincent and if it's a girl, Gianna Marie.

Did I pass the audition?

I'm in week 11 and my nausea is starting to subside a little.
Very Little
It comes mostly at night now so I'm able to get more things done now durring the day without having to run to the bathroom.

I have had 2 great sonograms and look foward to another one in a few weeks ( I think they are watching me more closely with lots of sonograms cause of the way I conceived)

Havent given to much thought to baby names yet, I think I'm gonna wait till I find out what sex it is first.
I do have grandparents I will be trying to name after though..

Debbie- speaking as a fellow carpel tunnel sufferer (from years ago having nothing to do with pg. I had surgeries to correct the problem) may I suggest you get the hand/wrist braces they sell in CVS (with the metal bar in them is best) and wear them when you sleep. You will feel MUCH better if you do that.

Thanks Michele, but I also have sufffered pre-pregnancy and had numerous shots and then the surgery. Unfortunately, it's come back due to the pregnancy. I have the splints or should say had them, because I can't seem to find them (they might be at my old room still or tossed away in the move).

Michele, a few years ago I had a little girl in my class named Emerie (pronounced the same as Emory), and she was adorable!! I really like that name because it reminds me of that cutie!

Hi Everyone, its so great to hear how everyone is doing. I will be 28 weeks tomorrow---I can't believe how fast time is flying by! The baby's kicks have become much more intense, which have been really amazing! There are times though that she pushes down on my bladder, which is not fun at all!

I have been having these new symptoms:
--dizziness/faintiness
--leg cramps at night
--feeling out of breath
--HEARTBURN
No matter how uncomfortable, they are all worth it!


I can't believe that I only have 12 weeks to go! YEAH!!!!

Here I am @ 36 weeks, 4 days...

Feeling *enormous* (could be cuz my baby is close to 8 pounds already) I'm swollen, cranky and TIIIIIIRED!! I have not had a good night's sleep in months!! The carpal tunnel in both of my hands is getting worse, although those splints really do help!!

Of course, I'm also thrilled, excited and anxious to meet my Peanut {whenever that is }!!!!!!!!

Thursday is my LAST DAY at work!!! WAHOOOOOO I'll never have to commute to Manhattan again!!!!

As for names... forget it. We have no definite names picked out yet...nothing like waiting 'til the last minute!!!

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well & there is much good news to report! You've chosen some beautiful names, girls. Debb ... love Gianna. I've always said I loved Gianni for a boy, but Vinnie'd never go for it .

Anyway ... starting week 19 today. Feeling better, thankfully. No more morning sickness, although the trips to the bathroom have been agony. It seems like I drink all day, don't pee in the afternoon at all, then later on ... whammo! All night! vinnie rolled over last night & mumbled .. Not Again! Oh, yes .... for the 4th time!

Feeling tired, and a little crampy off & on, but generally good.

Felt the baby move last week for the first time! Very exciting ... and a few times since then. Nothing monumental, but definitely there!

As for names ... Michael Vincent for a , Maria Theresa for a . We have all bets on a . EVERYONE is hoping!!! Even me ... a little . Vinnie always thought that he would have boys, but the funny thing is that he refers to the baby as 'she' & 'his daughter'! I just heard it happen at a party the other day & we hadn't even talked about it. I never tell him that I'm constantly dreaming about a little girl.

I guess we'll see!

congrats, Kathi. I'll be so nice I'm sure to be home, take care of yourself for the next few weeks & prepare for the happy day!

YEAH KATHI!!! Didn't you think this day would never come???? Enjoy these days and relax because your little Peanut (make that big little Peanut ) will be here before you know it!!!!

I'm also glad to hear everyone is doing so well, despite the normal aches and pains!!!

Christine, I love the name Gianni also -- I LOVE all those real 'guinea' names!! My mother cringes, but oh well -- my baby, my choice!!!

I'm thinking that we all have to get together either before or after these LIW babies come!!! We can compare bellies and babies!!!
