No news yet but I just wanted to know what the earliest signs were that you were pregnant and how long did it take for them to show?

VERY sore nipples right away, cramps but no period right away, sleepiness after 6 weeks. Oh do I hear another baby coming????? Good Luck!!!!

many girls say (I do not have an personal experience) that many of the symptons are very similar to PMS.

Oh my gosh, I have been having cramps without my period and sore breasts!! Could that be only within a week or a few days??? How early can I take a preg. test?

You wouldnt feel any symptoms till after implantation which is anywhere from 7 to 12 days after you ovulated.. thats when the pregnancy hormone hcg starts building in your body, which is also the same hormone that would make a + pregnancy test. Dont test till the day you should get your period.. It is possible for it to come back + before, but sometimes when there is not enough hcg yet it will be - and would be wrong.... Just not to to drive yourself crazy.. I would wait
p.s my first symptoms were painful breasts ( they never get like that for my period)

My sxs were not necessarily similar to PMS. I had very sore, tingy breasts and nipples, something that does not happen to me before my period. I mean they were really heavy, I felt like I was weighed down and top heavy (which I am completely not). I also had a burping problem -nothing too embarrasing thank God Otherwise, since I have a very regular cycle and know the day I'm going to expect my period, the fact that it didn't arrive was the #1 sign.

The home pg tests on www.babyhopes.com say they can test 9 days after ovulation. Baby Dust to you ~~~~~~~~

considering this is my first month off of the pill I have no clue when I will ovulate since before the pill I was so irregular. So, I guess I will just have to wait. Maybe these symptoms are just a sign of ovulating for the first time in a few years. We shall see!!! Thanks for all of the answers!

abc: considering this is your first month off the pill your cycle may be a little off. I was 4 days late the first month when i was off the pill. It takes about 3 months or so for your cycle to get regular.
