Pregnant Bridesmaid- bachelorette party

I just found out that one of my bridesmaids is pregnant and will be about 5 months at the wedding. I was going to do wine tasting for my bachelorette party but now I'm considering doing something else so that she is able to participate. Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone have a situation like this? Thanks in advance!

You could do a spa party.. most other common ideas involve alcohol

Yea thats what I was thinking. I mean I feel bad not having her be able to participate and if she comes wine tasting with us she'll probably be miserable. At least I would think LOL.

I just had mine at a winery with a pregnant bridesmaid..she was great! We went shopping in the little gift shops and even looked at the animals in Martha Clara... it was so nice out we sat outside listened to music and hung out.. most wineries offered her a sweet tea or something of the sort.. We also ate lunch outside at one of the wineries...so don't count it out yet!

OH really?? that sounds awesome!! Ok cool so maybe I will suggest this to her when the time comes and maybe she will be into it. I mean I would like to do lunch there too so it wont be like we are wine tasting the entire day. Plus like you said there are little shops in the area and stuff. Thank you! You made my nite. :)

I am in the same situation my MOH will be 9 months pregnant at my wedding- She is going to join us for a wine tasting bachelorette party but she is just not going to 'taste' the wine.

I also think you could still do the wine tour, like the others said there is still lunch , and plenty of other shopping and sightseeing to do. It is still a nice day even without the wine.

I seriously feel so much better now. I really still wanted to do the wine tasting but didnt want to exclude her since she is one of my best friends. But it sounds like if I did the lunch outside, incorporated shopping, etc....there will still be a lot of other stuff going on. Plus it's just like a nice weekend to go away with the girls in nice weather! (hopefully lol)

Yeah , I think you are really fine, I think for your situation a wine tour is actually a really good idea. Even though it is called 'wine tour' there are still plenty of other things to do besides drink. I have been on a few and I would still enjoy myself without the wine (it does make it even more fun, but you can still have a very nice day).
