So I haven't picked out my BM/MOH dresses yet, and haven't even really looked. Just found out one of my MOH's is pregnant (soooooo happy btw). She is very early pregnant (like 4 weeks along, keep praying) and is due around the last day in Feb. My wedding is May 15.
Should I pick out dresses now and have her get measured while she's still not showing, figuring maybe to order a size up from what she measures at, or something?
Anyone deal with this situation? Thanks!!!

Re: Pregnant MOH
I'm in a bridal party and one of the other girls was pregnant but due a few months before the wedding. they took her measurements while still pretty early on and order the dress one or two sizes up (she's a really skinny girl and i havent seen her since she had the baby a few weeks ago, but she's probably only gained a few pounds post-baby, so jealous since i know my hips will never be the same when i ever have a baby). actually i think they did two sizes to be on the safe side, but then thats a lot of alterations!
hope this helps!

Re: Pregnant MOH
Definitely tell the place her situation when you order, they'll probably recommend 2 sizes up to be safe because its easier to take a dress in then let it out. That's what one of my BM's did (she gave birth 3 months before my wedding).

Re: Pregnant MOH
My MOH is pregant also. She is 4 months and beginning to show. I borught her last weekend to pick out the dress and at least get measured and they wrote down her size on her card. I'm not sure who else I'm having in my BP so the place told me when I know who else have them come in and place the order all together. It takes 4 months for the dresses to come in so as long as it's 4 months before the wedding I'm fine. You could even have her go in for the measuring when she's 3 or 4 months. My place is ordering the size in either her dress size or maybe a size up just in case she doesn't loose all the weigt and alter it smaller if needed.

Re: Pregnant MOH
My baby is 6 months and I am still not where I want to be so maybe they can let it out a little just in case and maybe take it in some if she goes back to normal right away. Some people don't have to work after they have a baby it goes right back and some do.
