I just wanted to update everyone. Last time I wrote, my doctor had confirmed that I was pregnant, but indicated that due to my low progesterone levels, that he wanted to make sure next time I visited that there was a heartbeat. Needless to say, I was TERRIFIED that I would get bad news this week.
Well, I just had my doctor's visit yesterday, and there was a HEARTBEAT!!! He showed it to me on the sonogram!!! It's amazing! He said that the baby is perfect, and it is progressing perfectly! I am exactly 7 weeks and 2 days into the pregnancy, and I am right on track! We are so happy!!!
This weekend we are telling our parents!!! Any cute ideas of how to tell them (we're doing it in person with each set of parents)....
I'm SOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!

I like Mistyeyed idea, sonogram in a frame, and maybe combine it w/getting the I love Gma Gpa t-shirts.......

I like the ideas, and yes Thrilled- how stunning are the twins now! Dam! Octbride- you're not a geek- LOVE Uncle Jess!!! Those boys were so cute!
Here's one thing I had always thought of doing, besides the t-shirts and frames.... ask them over for dinner or whatever- over dinner tell them that you wanted their opinion on decorating one of the rooms and show them catalogs- but it would be of baby furniture etc... .like baby pottery barn.
(I'm the geek that I'm thinking of this stuff now!) Please update us after you tell them the great news!

Congrats!!!! I'm newly pregnant too! I told my Dad this way(parents are divorced) We came over under the premise of giving him his souveneir from our honeymoon. Instead of the coffee(we went to Jamaica) I put a bib in that said 'I love my Grandpa' in a mini gift bag. At first he was confused. He looked at me and I said I'm pregnant. He was ecstactic!!!!!
