Pregnant women in bikinis?

How do you feel about this. I am asking out of curiousity - I am going on vacation next week - I am going to be 22 weeks pregnant, and my husband thinks it's sexy to show it off and wear a bikini....how do you feel about it?

hmmm...I think it could be cute...but if everthing else is sufficiently covered. Like, I wouldn't want to see a woman in a string-thong bikini...but a tankini is cute, or something that covers breasts and butt enough.

I don't think you need to hide it! You're pregnant, it's a beautiful thing!

ETA: I really don't want to see ANYONE in a string-thong bikini

I couldn't do it either and I know DH wouldn't want me to. I think it depends on the woman and how she is carrying.

if Dh likes it, go for it. As long as you're comfortable. It's a beautiful thing. I just have to agree, as long as you're all covered up in the right areas I see nothing wrong with it. It's about YOU being cmfrtable . have fun!

I think that if you are all belly, it's a beautiful thing. I personally don't think *I* would look good in a bikini while pg but there are many women who look good enough while pregnant to do it. I say go for it, especially if your DH wants to see you like that!!

DH likes it when I walk around the house in a shirt that's too small and my pregnant belly sticks out. If I'm covered up, he lifts my shirt to expose my belly and insists that I leave it out!

Re: Pregnant women in bikinis?

I wouldn't look good in a bikini pregnant or not .....I am more forgiving of what people wear on the beach than on the street. For example, I have a stronger reaction to the pregnant women I see with the half shirts, with their belly hanging out walking in the mall than to a woman in a bikini at the beach. I don't think you should be ashamed of being pregnant, I just think the belly hanging out over the pants with the shirt not stretching over looks weird.

If you are comfortable in the bikini, go for it.

I think it's an ADORABLE look and if you're comfortable with it - go for it! I totally would.

If you are comfortable with it and your DH likes then I say go for it. Who cares what anyone else thinks. As long as your comfortable.

Don't worry about it....I just got back from vacation and HUGE woman have no problem wearing bikinis. I don't think people would bat an eye at a pregnant woman. Wear plenty of sunscreen!

I wore tankinis while I was very pregnant w/ Jeremy during Emmas swimming lessons. I felt huge and there is no way Id be in a bikini!
