pregos in wedding party

pregos in wedding party

My friends are all getting married this summer. Some want to be pregnant as soon as a sept. Which will bring them to about to give birth or very pregnant for my wedding. I didn't ask anyone to be my bp yet, how did anyone else handle a similar situation?

Here's my take, I don't expect anyone to put their life on hold for me, so whatever happens happens. But, if they are planning to get pregnant between August and say. .October, then they are really making it harder on themselves. Because they will more than likely be uncomfortable. Let alone. . . .possibly in Labor??!

If it were me. . and I knew I was going to be in a wedding in a year, I would not be trying to get pregnant right at that 9 month mark! or 8. . .or 7.

I would suggest to wait it out a little longer. At least until you think about all the possibilities and how you feel about them. You will probably be ordering the BM around December, so you still have time to decide.

I don't know if this helps :/

worry about choosing the right representatives for your day rather than who may have a baby bump....and then select dresses that would be flattering. That's what I'm doing! I have my MOH giving birth this Sept, FSIL due this Sept - so they may have some baby weight and then I have two cousins that may be preggo next summer for my wedding!

I don't think she's worried about how they'll look as much as will they be there or not after all the trouble of giving them BP spots and having them order and fit dresses.

At least... that would be my perspective.

If it's one or 2 girls.. and they 'plan' on getting pregnant in Sept... you don't know if that's actually going to happen or not. So ask them. And just be candid and say you know, you told me you're planning on trying for a baby in Sept, will you be ok coming to the wedding so far along? Plant the seed in THEIR head and let them know you want them to think about it and if they say no, it's ok. But leave it up to them.

I agree, do the math for them and let them decide. Besides just because people say they are going to start trying doesn't mean it will actually happen 123

my sister will be 7 months preggo at my wedding... and she actually looks like shes ready to pop... what she did was she went to DB and got her dress in May so she would be closer to the size she is now... also, she isnt wearing the same dress as the rest of the BP
