So I am a prepster and am planning (so far just with the venue and my mind) a navy blue, yellow and white themed wedding. Picture navy suit jackets, striped ties and khaki pants.
So i need to find a reasonably (is there such a thing?) priced dress store on the island that sells simple preppy-esque gowns............ any ideas ladies?

Re: J Crew, even for bridesmaid dresses, I think their BM dresses are pretty pricey.
I noticed that David's Bridal had some pretty fun, preppy BM dresses

Someone I work with got her dress and BM dresses at Lillettes- The only complaint she had was there were some 'hidden' fees when it came time to create her bustle. She loved and recommended the place to me- just let me know what happened with her.

Love it! the Preppy Wedding was our initial vision; it transitioned as the wedding planning progressed.
For BM dresses I think J.Crew and Ann Taylor have very clean, simple lines in preppy-esque colors. For bridal gowns, have you checked out the Vineyard Collection that Priscilla of Boston has? Gorgeous wedding gowns!!! They too have BM dresses.

My friend is doing a similar theme/colors for her Labor Day weekend wedding and we're wearing these BM dresses from David's Bridal.
