Present from FMIL

So yesterday FMIL flew in to spend the week with us. She does this 4x a year for her job. Since her job is like 10 minutes from our place, and we have a spare bedroom, she stays with us instead of a hotel. I don't mind her staying with us--I actually look forward to spending time with her since FMIL and FFIL live in Myrtle Beach.
Anyways.....
She gave me a card that was given to her when FH was born. Inside the card was a poem about a head dress to be worn when baby comes home from hospital and/or at christening. The head dress comes apart as a hanky to be given as a wedding present. FMIL asked if I had my 'something old/new/borrowed/blue' stuff yet, especially my 'something old'. Since I don't she gave me the hanky.
The poem was really sweet. I'll be back on later tonight to post what it said. I can't wait to be pregnant and give the hanky to the baby for when it gets married. It's just really sweet, and something I wanted to share with you guys

Aww, that is so thoughtful! Aren't we lucky to have such wonderful FMIL's? Both FMIL and FFIL are so awesome and I love spending time with them! I would so dread not being close to my in-laws...

I feel the same way. I consider myself really lucky, because there are alot of people out there who do not like their in-laws. I couldn't imagine not getting along with them. They're such an important part of our lives.

I know! In fact, my mom and FMIL will both help me choose 1 out of the 4 dresses I'm in love with..I love them both so why not??
