a watch? tv? how much do you want to spend? maybe put together a picture album of his life - get pics from mom, steal some from his own album, include ones with the two of you, leave some pages at the end for 'the future'

I like the idea of something engraved so you can have a special wedding day message on it from you to him. (One place I like is Things Remembered)

That is a Good idea. I have to say someone got that for him for Christmas & he loved it.
I think it just expired. He only had 4 months.
