Apparently Prestige Wedding Center says I won my choice of either a free engagement photo shoot or a 3day, 2 night hotel stay in various locations. In order to claim my prize though I need to set up an appointment to look at their stuff- everything from photography to lighting to favors with no obligation to buy. This sounds eerily familiar to an awful experience I had at a time share place in Orlando, FL for some free Sea World tix. I would've paid twice the price of those Sea World tix to avoid that situation! Anyway, what I'm asking is has anyone used them, heard of them, 'won' anything from them? Is this a scam or something worth looking into? I just don't want to go through the aggravation of being pressured just for a hotel stay or some free pics. HELP ladies! TIA!

I got the same phone call from them..I won a 3 day trip to anywhere I want thats on their list (Miami, Las Vegas, CA, MA, etc).
I am meeting with them tomorrow because they claim my FH and I need to be there to sign a contract if we want to take the trip..

Yupp, I was at the Expo! It says I put my name in the raffle, which I very well might have. I was putting my name in every raffle I saw, whether or not I knew what it was for. LOL! Part of me says it doesn't hurt to call, the other part remembers Orlando where FH nearly punched a woman in the face she was so obnoxious.

Hmmm, lemme know how it goes! Did they say you have to go see their stuff? I booked almost all of our vendors now anyway. I wouldn't be completely opposed to finding out their prices on favors or uplighting!

AHHHHHH I just went to the one in South Ozone because its like 5 blocks away from me. Basically, u should just go to get the voucher. It's a 3 night hotel stay and they have a lot of areas to choose from. It's regular hotels like Holiday Inn and stuff but its free so I thought it was worth it.
Anywho, when it comes to the presentation, honestly I felt like the whole place was a bit on the amateur, um low quality side and their prices were high for the quality of work. I tried to get out as fast as possible. FH and I just wanted to get the voucher !!

You don't have to sign anything to get it!! Once you go in and fill out a contact sheet and listen to their presentation, you get it!! I basically just tried to speed the process along by saying we were in a rush so we were out in a half hr
