I got a phone call from prestige weddings saying i won a 3 day 2 night hotle stay in either Florida, Vegas, Atlantic City, or the Poconos - all i have to do is come in and redeem it??
Is this a scam? Does anyone know or heard of this - good or bad? if so tell me all.

i don't trust anyone. i always think someone is out to scam me lol. i would go down to hear it out. can't hurt. if it is a scam you can always walk out.

I got the same call....made an apt....and then looked all over LIW and realized it was pretty much a scam....WELL, not really a scam, cause you would get the free hotel, but you would still have to pay airfare/gas money as well as taxes....so i canceled

I feel like that's the people who called me after I went to one of the wedding shows. I think they just try to sell you stuff. If they NEED the FH to come with you, then I think that's them.

Thank girls - i think my conclusion is that its not a scam but it is a waste of time - i think i'm going to cancel my appointment - i'lllet you girls know if they keep calling. I was so excited that i won something too - oh well :(

I was extremely excited when I won a cruise from The Wedding Center of Commack. That's a scam though. You won a cruise.... but you have to pay for the whole thing yourself... so I know the feeling. Sorry.. i know it sucks..
