Hi girls! So I joined LIW a while back, but never really took advantage of it. The past two days, I haven't been able to get off the site!
I had a fast question... I got my dress, and the part that I loved the most was a swarovski beaded sash that the bridal attendant had put on it. I was 'ehh' about the dress until this accessory. Then I saw that the sash was $2500, and I still bought the dress, but decided that I can look elsewhere for the sash (my mother said she would get it, but I figured I would try to find a similiar one before having her spend that kind of money...) so my question is; does anyone know where I could even begin to look for something like this?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!!

Re: Pretty New on here with a quick question
First, Congrats and Welcome....
you can probably call other bridal shops to see if they carry something similar... doese it have to be swarovsky?

Thanks for the welcome! I did start calling other bridal places, but it seems that they are all running that much. No, it doesn't have to be swarovski...I could care less! ha ha

Re: Pretty New on here with a quick question
then like Jill said Ebay or just putting something similar into any search engine would probably give you some pretty good results

Welcome and congrats on the dress!!!
RK bridal has pretty sashes that are not anywhere near that expensive. Might be worth taking a look at.

Do you have a picture of what it looks like? I ordered this belt to wear with my dress and it was under 1K. . .
I ordered a sparkle belt for my dress and it was $500 at Bridal Reflections. I'd also def suggest etsy.

Re: Pretty New on here with a quick question
I love the picture of the belt! That is exactly what I am looking for, but about 2.5 inches thick.
I got my dress at Bridal Reflections, and that is where the sash was $2500!! I will keep looking girls!
Thanks for all of the reccomendations! It is really appreciated!!!

I have to second everyone's recommendations to do Etsy. If you have a picture of it, you can put up an Alchemy request to see if people can make something that looks similar. You set the price you want to pay and include the details and people will 'bid' on your order. It's so much fun!
First- create an Etsy account and login. Click on 'Custom' at the top of the screen and then 'Add New Request.' Good luck!!

Re: Pretty New on here with a quick question
my belt is romona keveza (as is my dress) and it was $600 i think. I ended up getting it for less but it was in combination with my dress.
point of story: check out bridal stores - kleinfelds, bridal reflections. accessories are sold separately.

That is insane for a sash! The belt is Monique Lhuillier and I believe it was around $800. You could get it for a discount if you bought it at a trunk show. I would also check out etsy though too.

Re: Pretty New on here with a quick question
I agree with Etsy...you can actually post on the 'Custom' section, I think they call it 'Alchemy' and tell people what you are looking for, and then vendors bid on creating it for you.
I am actually doing this and having a lace bolero made. I got a ton of bids, and then researched who I wanted to give the job to.
