Never considered the fact that it is going to be dark not to long after im out of my ceremony... I didn't even realize it was going to get dark that soon im soooooo mad right now... What do i do? I do not mind taking a few pics in the dark but i do not want all my pics in the dark...

We don't want to see each other before . I want him to be surprised when I walk down the aisle. I always tear up when i see the grooms reaction at the alter... I love that!!! I contacted my church to see if they can give me an earlier ceremony so we will see. I know I have to look at the positive side!!!

ok, deep breaths...i went through this same drama. damn that early november sunset
the sun will set at 4:41 PM on your wedding day. talk to your photographer about the window of time you're looking at for sunlight...mine said all she needed was a half hour and she could get some great shots of me and FH, as well as the basic family pictures. i was really surprised about that- i figured pictures would take 1 hr+ but she assured me that since we don't want a ton of posed pictures, we will be fine.
i was really worried about this, but once i started working out the timeline i was able to figure out timing that i felt comfortable with. oh, and i'm in the same boat as you- i don't want to see FH before the ceremony lol- so picky!

does your venue have places to take pictures inside? My brother got married the same week as you and their outdoor night pics came out absolutely amazing. Very romantic. As long as you have a good photographer i wouldnt worry

Thanks a million i feel sooo much better hearing from November brides!! I'm more than likely using Patken so hopefully they can take pics within that time frame. I wanted to take pics at old westbury - but it may be better if i go to the arboratum in great river since it is on the way to Villa. They close at 4 though..

try calling them to see if they'll stay open an extra 1/2 hour for you...it's worth a shot!
maria's right- outdoor night pictures are so romantic looking too
