My e-pics took 5 weeks, they told me that was because it was peak timing and that my wedding pictures would be much less since it was off peak... well Friday will be 5 weeks. I finally called today and they say either by the end of this OR NEXT WEEK! my brother and sister used diff photographers for their weddings and had their photos available to view online in less than a week and their proofs within 3. what the **** is the holdup!?

They were SO worth it though so I hope the same is the case for you.

Keep calling and being a nag. They hate that. It'll speed up the process alot faster! Its a month yesterday, you should have them by now! Hope you get them soon! They'll be so worth the wait~

I know this is not their busy season with weddings, however I work at a catering hall and I can tell you this is a very busy season for brides and grooms shopping around at different places. A lot of people get engaged over the holidays, New Year's, and Valentine's Day, so January and February are VERY busy months for people in the wedding business. I am not saying that is definitely the reason, however that may be a reason why it is taking so long.
I am so sorry it is taking this long. I know how you feel about wanting to see your proofs right away. I had to wait 3 weeks and I was going crazy for them. You will get them soon I am sure and they will be beautiful! Please share with us when you have them.

did you pay for the pics to be Online? I didnt, but I would think that would be able to be done quickly...
as for the proofs being printed...5 weeks seems pretty normal... sometimes it can take up to 8 weeks...
call/ email until you get a definitive answer

I know it's so hard to wait, but at least your pix will probably be really really good. It's better than a shorter wait for pix that aren't what you want.
They should live up to their word, though.

I disagree that calling to nag will help in this situation. Duet gets their shipments in from the lab on either Tuesday or Thursday. Calling to nag won't make those shipments come in any quicker.
I got married in February (hardly peak season) and mine took 5.5 weeks exactly.

Agreed. My wedding was in June and I received the proofs in 7 weeks, including 1 week for shipment to Dallas.

Ours took almost 10 weeks, but that was b/c it was peak season. they are still doing my album and I just received my video this week, so even though it may not be peak season they are pretty busy. it is definitely worth the wait.

I noticed with almost everything, unless I followed up with an email or phone call..I'm never told something is in. 7 weeks for my proofs and 6 weeks for my thank yous.
