pretty p!ssed

So the receptionist at my job asked her boyfriend who has worked at our company for a couple of years what our bosses give for xmas bonuses. And he laughed and said nothing!!! How can they give nothing! I even got a bonus when I worked as a temp! I hate this place and can't wait ill Im back from my honeymoon so I can leave!!!!

Yea, I just started working here in April and I found out we don't get them either! That's BS!

My old job was crap, but at least we got awesome bonuses..IN CASH!

I have NEVER received a Xmas bonus----EVER!

Some of the tenants in my buildings give cool presents though!

Not only don't we get a bonus..but our 'holiday party' is anything but a party! We have to wear nametags...and network. there's not seats, it's a cocktail party and we can't bring dates.

I thought working in the city, I 'd get these fun perks..

I've only received a bonus at my old job. They would give you a certain % but then they would add it in with your regular check and tax the crap out of you. So, that was not really a bonus.

I have never gotten a bonus since graduating college. I got one once, when I was a filer at a dr's office in college. :) I thought it was awesome.

Our christmas party is fun, but we cannot bring dates, it's just for employees.

I think this kind of thing is standard now ... unfortunately.

I havent received a christmas bonus at any job that I worked for, be it an office or a city agency, there have been presents, but no bonus, and the presents were from individual people

We don't get a bonus either, or an Xmas party. And I work for a major company! They are giving us an extra 3 days off around Xmas instead, but still. Sometimes I'd rather have the cash, lol.
