Preventing Tan Lines

Preventing Tan Lines

So question for you all: I'm getting married on September 4 in a strapless dress, and I'm worried about tan lines, but I also want to be able to enjoy the summer. Any suggestions? Do you think high SPFs will prevent getting tan lines?

nude beach!

I dont think anything will prevent it. You still get color with an SPF. Maybe just be careful and get a spray tan if you have lines.

wear bandeau top bikinis or strapless bathing suits. That is the only kind of bathing suit i plan on wearing all summer.

High SPF is probably your best bet, but it might not keep you from getting tan lines completely. If you're gonna be int he sun make sure you're reapplying a sweatproof, waterproof high SPF UVA/UVB sunscreen very frequently like every hour to two and ALWAYS after sweating, vigorous activity and swimming. Cover up with a cute floppy hat, sit under an umbrella and wear gauzy materials that will cover your shoulders and arms but will still keep you cool if at all possible.

And if that fails, there's always makeup and airbrush. It is what it is, you know? You can only do so much.

Hmm I'd say that the only thing that would help 100 percent is a strapless bathing suit top.

I was going to say this, but then I thought about if the dress is cut lower or differently from whatever you've been wearing all summer... so strapless is good, but use SPF anyway!
